Jenn Grant was the first act and she was lovely. Just absolutely gorgeous and her voice was just fantastic. bought her cd.
Shotgun & Jaybird played after her. Not quite as good, none of their songs really have endings. But I bought their cd too because it was cheap and their bass player (man she was smokin'!) was selling them. mmm flirting with sexy bass players. I think it was the bangs.
Then between their act and Feist I had to run to the bathroom because I
a) drank too much really sweet wine.
b) was hot as all fucking hell
and
c)hadn't eaten much
recipe for disaster!
But it was cool . I mean I lost my spot right up front obviously, but I found liz and ned and I wasn't surrounded by three thousand bimbos who hit me with their hair and their crappy hand bags. Plus I got to sit by the window which was cold and lovely.
Then it was over and we went back to Kat's to get some sleep.
