Well, well, well. I don't know where to begin, because it's been awhile since I really updated.
My job: absolutely freaking love it. I got quite the compliment from the main boss, who is very intimidating and scary, but he likes me and thinks that I have done a wonderful job this summer. Therefore, he told me when I get my masters to call him, and he will make sure I have a job wherever I want it in the state. Very comforting. And more good news that came on Friday...he is going to see if he can just hire me through December, so I don't have to worry about finding a job for three months. Very pumped. I get to chaperone the Jr. Leader completion trip to Louisville this week...should be fun. Mini-vacation...what what.
So. I am going to take the GRE August 16. Then I'll apply to Purdue and cross my fingers that I get in. Hopefully I can start the program in January, and in 33 credit hours, I will be a 4-H Extension Educator. BOO-YAH. Just think, if all goes as planned, I will be running my own fair two years from now.
And you can call me a redneck, hick, whatever you want. I don't really care. I'm doing what I love and I'm going to be successful. kthanks.
In other news, if I find out tomorrow that I do have a job throughout the year, I will probably get getting a new car soon. Dad/I wanted to wait until I had a steady income, and then he said if I'm in school, he will take care of it. So, that is cool.
Had an awesome weekend at Megans. There's nothing like sipping Bahama Krista's by the pool with your best friends. Nothing at all.
I am currently watching Sweeney Todd. It's interesting, for sure. Not one that I'll probably run out and buy, but one that I can at least say I watched and enjoyed. Johnny Depp is a freak, that is for sure.
Well, I think that about sums up my life right now. I really don't have a social life. I go to work, I come home, ride my bike, eat dinner, and that's about it. It sucks. But, it's life...right now.
