this is you

Today was an eye-opener for me. I realized that I am indeed a crackpot and that I make no sense whatsoever to those who will take the time to listen and put up with my rambling. I have also come to the conclusion that I am a schizophrenic, whether it be an inherent quality of mine or a biproduct of the ADHD consuming my continually shrinking ability to concentrate on one thing, much less sustain a single personality (kinda like the cartoon cat in my dream that changed color and shape with every mood). I noticed this afternoon while ambling through aisles of Barnes and Noble, going through Mars Volta lyrics in my head, humming the tune of the Dvorjak cello concerto, taking in the redolent scent of new books, and thinking of something mischievous to do to Mr. Dolan, that I am totally inconsistent in my actions, thoughts, and mannerisms. This espial, however, does not phase me; on the contrary, I think it adds a bit more excitement to everyone's mundane lives. Upon discussing the constituents of different types of human relationships later on in the day, my incompetence in communicating my thoughts on the matter frustrated me nonetheless. I have decided to work on expressing my thoughts in a clear, concise, and articulate manner for all to understand (except the dunces). Cross your fingers.

I had a fight today. It was a glorious battle about arguments. My opponent in this fierce struggle seems to believe that I have the upper-hand in conflicts due to my "natural fighting ability" (and no, he did not mean super kung fu skills). I retorted with my usual barrage of blah blah blahs "I don't know what you're talking about", but that just got me into more of a bind. I then had to reason my way through the argument, proving why I was inherently BAD at argumentation through logical thought processes. This however, hit me right back in the face, because it proved his point even further. I was mired in the mud until I thought of the ingenious antiphon that because his point is proved, he wins the argument and the war is over. However, as you can see, this can be flip-flopped either way and becomes an endless cycle of nonsense. This led both of us to come to the conclusion that neither of us knows what the hell we're talking about in anything and everything and that we argue for the sake of arguing, master charlatans skilled at the art of fakery. THE END.
