Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Between Thanksgiving and Christmas I always seem to stop and take a few moments, more often than usual, and think about the things I’m thankful for and reflect on the blessing in my life. There are many…

I won’t go into all of them but I did want to share a few with you, this wonderful group of people that I’m proud to call my friends and think of as a family of sorts. So here’s my list of blessings and things I’m thankful for:

  1. Writing has become so important to me. I know I annoy you all sometimes when there are long breaks between chapters, but it’s because I really want to get it right.

  1. Your responses. I wouldn’t write if people didn’t love it. Ok, that’s a bit of a lie. I love to write and I’d do it whether or not anyone read, but it’s better that you do and that you take the time to comment on it. All those comments mean more to me than you’ll ever know and more than I can adequately express.

  1. Sabrina Bryan and Mark Ballas. I’ve never met them, and I seriously doubt I ever will but I am thankful for them. Without them I never would have started writing and I never would have found you all. Things haven’t always been easy, being a part of this fandom, but I don’t know that I’d take anything back or change anything. It’s what we go through that makes us who we are and forms our relationships… and I think ours are pretty great.

  1. Other writers - I’ve learned so much from reading the writings of other people. It’s helping mine, constantly.

  1. You. All of you are blessings in my life and I’m thankful for you all. Some of you I only know through fics, others only on Twitter. There are still others with whom I have e-mail conversations. And then there are the ones I talk to quite regularly on AIM or Google Chat. There are some that I’ve talked to only once or twice and others that I talk to every day. Which ever you are, I hope you know how thankful I am for you and how grateful I am that you’re in my life - however you’re in it.

I hope wherever this finds you, whatever you’re doing, you’re having the Merriest of Christmases and that you’re looking forward to all the gifts the New Year will bring you.

I love you all and thank you for everything you’ve given me, whether you know it or not.

Merry Christmas!!!

~Kristan
