just help me understand!!!!

guys.. i just dont understand them.. they will tell you one thing and then go and tell another chick somthing else.. it just doesnt make anysence... like being a vergin.. a guy will tell you that he is if he is close enough to you that he can trust you with it.. and then he will tell some other chick that he likes that he isnt because she doesnt know him all that well yet.. and why not just look 'cool' with this chick and tell her that you have had experiance when you havnt.. why cant guys just tell the truth? not be emberraced.. a lot of girls that i know do not care if the guy is a vergin or not.. when they ask they are usally just cerious and wondering on how far the guy has gone and it gives the girl a feeling on what the guy is going to be wanting out of a relationship.. so what is the big deal when it comes to your verginity? why cant guys just tell the truth? start out without a lie?
