Surrounded by morons...
I've been pretty happy this week, despite my sucky job.
But today I'm having one of those days where I might bitch out the next moronic person who speaks to me. It'll be a fun day, too, since I work with mostly morons. Really, what is it with hospitals hiring idiot employees??
Also, my doctors suck. Yesterday was some b.s. holiday - Administrative Professionals Day - but I didn't get anything. They all seemed clueless. Oh wait, we all had cake - which always sucks - and punch in the conference room. Yippee. How 'bout a catered lunch? Or, I don't know, a coffee gift card. Something. Maybe just an acknowledgement. My boss did give me a goodie bag with candy - but she's really good about that kind of thing.
A friend of mine had lunch catered and my mom got lunch and flowers.
Ugh. I'm just having one of those days where I really, REALLY wish I had a different job. Yeah, I'm cranky today. And I'm so frustrated with the people I work with that I'm in near tears. Maybe it's time to go back to school. Or work at McDonalds. I'm about to the point where anything is better than this place.
