You know, I'm really tired of sensationalist news. I can't seem to get away from it. What happened to journalism? Actually, I'm not sure I can blame the media. If a politician says something, it's likely to be reported. So, maybe it just goes back to my distrust of politicians.
Anyhow, the whole U.S. attorneys getting fired story is annoying. Bush can fire whoever he wants, for whatever reasons. It's no different than other presidents cleaning house. It's something they're allowed to do, and most presidents take advantage of it in some way. I don't understand why Democrats are making such a big deal about it. I know they want Bush out .. but ... I think this kind of thing only hurts them in the long run. I mean, it's surprising to me how many people just go along with this story and are outraged by it. I don't condone firing people because of their political affiliation, but it's the president's "right." He's done nothing wrong.
Yes, I am a Democrat. Well, at least I'm registered with the Democratic Party. These days I think I'm in the middle somewhere. *shakes head* I can't believe I was just defending the president.
