(no subject)
my sister turns 9 tomorrow...I feel so old. I remember perfectly the day she was born. I was, afterall, 11 years old at the time. It was future day that day in school, we had like, 3 days left of fifth grade. I woke up that morning and mom was gone, my grandma said they had gone to the hospital. I was soo excited, but we hadn't gotten anymore details before I left for school. I dont remember much about the day at school until that afternoon around oneish when my dad came in to get my brother and I , and my teacher asked if I had a brother or sister, and I hadn't even bothered to ask my dad what it was. And when he said a girl, it was sooo exciting!!! I finally had a sister, after 6.5 years of having just brothers, this was gonna be awesome!!!!!!!!
And now she's all big, and we look alike, with the same hair and everything. And just, aw. She's all grown up.
Also, its a very weird concept that I've known two really good friends since before Mary was born. w/ paul, its not so weird, he's only 4, and psh. lol. But both megan rhodes and megan meranda have been around forever since they knew me when I only had loser brothers.
ack, time moves fast!!!!
just had to reminisce a little there. :)
today was fun, dan had a cookout for his little crew, and nick, david and erin came over to join in the fun. :)
also, my family leaves in 5 days. I'm going to have a completely clean house for two and a half weeks. I'm beyond excited. (its getting cleaned, by me, friday afternoon - they leave friday morning)
And now she's all big, and we look alike, with the same hair and everything. And just, aw. She's all grown up.
