537: Hanna is Not a Beach Gathering
AAAAAHAHAHA HELLO NEW FANDOM.
So I'm totally boarding the Hanna train and getting all into the fandom which also involved joining the forums on the main site. AND LO AND BEHOLD there was a thread about So Cal fan gatherings! And one happened this weekend! So I dragged the husbands to Santa Monica and there was happy closet cosplay good times! (Though, since we always cosplay, our closets happen to include things like lab coats and wigs.)
So, yeah, I haven't posted about AX yet, but NO ONE CARES ABOUT THAT CON, HAVE A RIDICULOUS SAUCE HANNA GATHERING INSTEAD :DDDD
Here is me as Hanna and chiharu-octavia as Doc Worth! I am super lame-o closet version with the only polo shirt I own and my Hiccup wig pulled back with gay clips~ (because everything I cosplay is gaaaaay) For Worth we had to steal the fur off Roy's Ayame coat (Actually, we almost had her WEAR the Ayame coat, but then decided against it. It's a bit too fabulous for him and we have lab coats anyway)
And hey! Kids eat free at the IHOP! Let's get some pancakes!
Lack of long pants does not mean a lack of knee bandage (What do you think happened to me when I made that hole on my pant leg?)
STFU Worth is fabulous.
Of all the things that could weird you out about Worth, Hanna is apparently only bothered by pink finger nails.

.... Breakfast? Not as awesome. (For them, anyway. HAHAHA) Also, tsuzusushi as Conrad! She found the most amazing props for this set, omfg.

So being the tard that I am, I totally forgot my cosplay glasses. So we had to buy some~ It's for the best, I think. The glasses I have are reading glasses that magnify everything, so I can't actually see out of them. These, on the other hand, look so nice and I totally forget I'm wearing them!
But now we're in an accessory store, so we have to fuck around.
Worth, pimpin' it LIKE A BOSS DOC.

Lamont has the boxes, they are full of classified things. (Or at least I assume it's classified. Isn't it always when it comes to supplies from him?)

And heeey~ It's me~ And my chest is flat(er than normal)! Lulz, an outing to the beach is when I decide to use binding for the first time. It's wasn't bad at all, though, probably because I have no boobs.

Back at the base, it looks like we're throwing a freakin' goth party LOLOLOL (Well, there ARE a bunch of vampires and things...)
Oh yes. Hanna is equipped and ready for some beach action.

Lamont has apparently been commissioned to construct some kind of sand structure. We'll check back with them in a bit.
While everyone else busts out the sandwiches~
The wall begins to take shape!

While Other!Finas and Ples stick to the shade (where it is still safe)
And there are still sandwiches~
Conman and Hanna kind of fail at football, though.
And Zombie is still chill.

Worth knows how to be safe at the beach. He's a DOCTOR. (sort of.)
Hanna needs beach safety more than Worth, really.

Our little sand village (complete with temple to the various sun gods) and it's MASSIVE WAVE BARRICADE. Which totally works!

And even more people arrive! (as we are leaving *SOBSOBSOB*)
Now Hanna is almost like a doctor (except not really at all)! At least he can look as cool as one.

So now that I have actual fake glasses, I'm wearing them all the time so I can be cool like Roy and Maes, lulz. IT'S KIND OF AWESOME. *is wearing them right now obviously*
