544: ALA report!
So soon! Well, yes, there's not 500 MILLION pictures for this one and I'm waiting for my PSP to charge, so I might as well while the memories are still fresh.

I made my own cover-all apron because it's the easiest thing in the world and because I could not stand to have any part of my costume store bought in a fandom full of closet cosplay D: (I'm just a snob like that) I even made the kerchief! ... As in, I cut out a square and hemmed it, harhar

Cosplay chess! This was actually more entertaining than I heard it was going to be. Every time a piece was taken, they'd clear the board and the two characters would fight! Part way through the game, someone took to saying "I ship it!" at the start of every battle. This became my catchphrase for the rest of the con.
(Howl is a Queen luuulz) The white team won, obviously, because Lelouch was the king.

The only Road cosplay I have ever approved of. And I think she said it was her first cosplay or something. WAY TO BE HARDCORE, GIRL. Such a flawless face painting job~ And every time we saw her she was in a different Road outfit, it was awesome!
Random twister game by the pool! It was fabulous. Sephiroth joined in later, too. I would have played if my legs had been capable of moving (but I was wearing JAPAN. Yeah, no.)
NIPPON BANZAI wtf
SO PRETTY. SO PRETTY. HHHHHHNG. I saw Namine first I thought, "Oh, it's that new princess from Mario Galaxy.... wait, that's... That's Kairi... omg wait, that's Namine! omg and Xion! a;ldkgh;oadsfhga!" so prettyyyyyyyyyyyyy~
AAAAAH MY EYES. PROFESSAH, PUT YOUR PANTS BACK ON!
So we saw a Flora cosplayer walk past the lobby and SPAZZED THE FUCK OUT. And, because this con was far too close to our house, WE DROVE BACK AND CHANGED. WE'RE SUCH LOSERS. We didn't even find her again, it was lame D: But I was glad to be wearing shorts, so alls well that ends well.
And the pool always looks so nice, we just wanted to get in the water! (we need some swimsuit cosplay one of these days.)
And now for a small and lame photo comic:
And the day ends with some pizza, tetris and Persona.
DAY TWO, FMA MEET. That we didn't know about until the night before so I didn't have a proper costume. Here's us totally ignoring the rest of the meet because we're cool like that.
We couldn't call this Ed short, it was rather terrifying.

The FMA meet ends and EVERYONE is going back to their hotel rooms to CHANGE. And we sure as hell never wear FMA all day and so ONCE AGAIN DRIVE BACK HOME. Roy really wanted to wear her mini skirt cosplay that they made for AX of 08 and wore for only a few hours. I kept my Riza pants on because but-capes are the best thing ever (and it was funnier that way)
We also brought along one of the Org13 coats Maes had made for me that same AX because we wanted to make various Allen Walkers wear it (because he's the 14th harhar) but we only got one to do it. We also wanted to drag one to the KH meet that was happening, but alas! Perhaps we shall be douchbags another day. (Roy is going to be Allen soon, maybe we can do it then.)
At least it came in handy when it got cold! (and Maes looks like Xion when she zips it up, it was kinda funny)

This occurred while Diana and I were just dancing at each other for, like, 20 minutes from across the pool. It was amazing. (Someone was taping her for awhile, it was amusing. And also me, apparently, but I r oblivious)
curse you, bad lighting, BUT LOOK, PRINCESS TUTU~!!! They even made the crazy lady with the hair that is not physically possible! There was a SUPER PRETTY Princess Tutu herself walking around too, but I didn't get her picture.
Mah sexy womens ♥ Heading back to the car to change once again~ :DD (this time, however, the costumes are in the car, we didn't have to drive home again.

I nearly had a heart attack when I saw her. She was getting off an elevator and I saw the back of her head and my mind just exploded. I fangirled so hard while I was taking her picture. (and someone behind me went "Oh, it's Christine from Phantom" and I said "Oh god, I'm so sorry, are you Christine?" to which she replied, "No, I'm Elisabeth," and I was like "Thank god! See, I know that hairstyle!")
*melts* aaaah~ My heart was racing even after I got back to my husbands~ It took me a moment to realize why someone would wear that to a con. I was like "historical figure wtf? OH! Takarazuka, of course~" Still, I am full of fangirly joy.
And now back to our regularly scheduled con report

Now we are just chilling in the lobby waiting for pizza that was going to take too long to come, and so just went home.
But not before Lelouch comes and is a total badass. (She came over to talk to Diana, but I didn't realize who she was cosplaying until I took the group shot.)
Yes, we are that cool. (I should not be allowed to play tetris in a public place, I am very verbally horrible at it.)
The best way to start a day: finding a whole group of your favorite thing that nobody ever cosplays! (This Relm is way better than mine *sobsobsob* It's okay, that FF6 group I was supposed to be in was never gonna happen away~)
My other favorite thing no one cosplays! This is our photographer friend, Ted. He had a hard time using his phone on this day, because his hands were too bloody, lulz.
The Kuroshitsuji meet! That we didn't get many pictures of because we were IN most of them. (and didn't care about the rest.)
But there was waltzing! (wtf, Pedoroth, get out of my nice picture!)
AND THIS HOT CHICK. Holy bejeebus.
Oh, and I'm awesome.
Then we WENT HOME AND CHANGED agaaaaaain~ Because Maes needed a shower to get off the old man.
And we went to the regency ball!
But it wasn't much of ball, it was more like a lesson~
