434: I already fail at mixing drinks
When we were kids, (I'm talking 11/12 here) Karen and I really loved to drink margarita mix. Just straight up, no alcohol content, margarita mix. Sometimes right out of the bottle, though most of the time we had it on the rocks (if only because we liked to say "on the rocks." Neither of us are really a huge fan of it that way, but it was easier than making it a slushie, so that's how we did it)
Now that Karen is 21 (and because I haven't picked up the PJ's she liked from Disneyland yet) I wanted to make her a real margarita. Not that either of us ever want much to do with alcohol, but since we drank it a lot as kids, I thought it would be funny. It is funny, really, I still like the idea. And since she's having a birthday party at the beach today (she was gone for her real birthday) it's sort of the perfect opportunity.
But there's too many things illegal about giving Karen a margarita at the beach. Mom informed me this morning while I was looking for something to put it in and it was so discouraging that I haven't even opened any of the bottles yet.
I don't really even feel like going to the beach now. (mostly from lack of sleep)This is sort of really annoying.
