(no subject)
So. My life in the last ... six months? Or even longer than that, really.
- Finally got my driver's license last June. At the age of 30. Really, we all have Justin to thank for that, because if he hadn't gone ahead and scheduled the test I'd probably still be getting driven around.
- Got a car last August, also thanks to his thorough searching. It's a 2010 Subaru Impreza, and it's gorgeous and I love it and secretly I call it Liara. Because it is a beautiful shade of blue and so is my space girlfriend (or one of them, anyway).
- We finally set a wedding date. We'll be tying the knot on May 16, 2015. At that point we'll have been together for eight years and engaged for three. We've already booked a venue, DJ, and a photographer, we know where we want to go for the bakery, but not much else. I still need a dress, we need a florist, and we have to finalize the bridal party and guests and such.
- I finally got a new laptop, because Justin is awesome. It runs everything amazingly well, has amazing graphics, and did I mention how awesome Justin is? :D :D :D
Other than that, same old, same old. We both still live with my parents (I know, I know), still working the same crappy (in my case) jobs, but at least I'm driving now. God, why didn't I do THAT sooner?
