Do you ever...?
...meet someone so often that it causes you to go back and think about all the missed situations you had, especially with that girl that got away? I hope it's not just me. I've actually been reeling of late because of this very situation. It's totally caught me by surprise, and to complicate it, old flames seem to be appearing out of nowhere trying to rebuild themselves out of the remaining ember.
It's not a big deal, and I'm not falling into the same traps I once did, but damn is it rough on a man's psyche and ego to have to go through this kind of stuff. I'm a man, so I will persevere, but jeez I hate it.
Good news, though, is that I love metal now, and spent all of last night listening to it on last.fm. There's some good shit out there, and it made me happy. All of that is in order to get ready to go and see Black Dahlia Murder on Tuesday. I'm really excited about that trip, because I really wanna be in a mosh pit, and I fucking love the city of Pittsburgh. I love that city so much, and it's only my third time being there. Not to mention that the venue that BDM is playing at is fucking awesome. Mr. Smalls, if you're curious. In Millvale, PA. It's where I saw Dear Hunter if you wanna look back through my blogs to see what I thought of it.
Other than that, I am busting my ass for Monster Clutter. I really think that it has a lot of potential if people wanna put in the effort to make it what it could be. If they have other ideas for the project, then that's fine, but I see a long period of Monster Clutter being pretty cool. I love being on the advertising team. It's something I'm marginally good at.
Speaking of which, I just did that some more. Tonight, I'm going to get Mason to do a lot of the things I need him to do so that I can do more WORK, SON.
Also, I love playing DnD. I'm having a really good time with it of late. My paladin is pretty solid in Mason's campaign, which is quite freaking brutal, and I rolled up a cyclops cleric for Jake's campaign, which'll be cool too, because I'm one of the most experienced players there.
I really don't know what else to say right now. I'm overall really happy. Huzzah!
