Hi, Sun!

Just came off nights.

I actually really like the overnight schedule. It ends up being about three days of 14h overnight shifts (usually passed without napping) and four days off. It's also somewhat quieter than the day shift (although that doesn't stop the shit from hitting the fan at three in the morning. Trust me. And that surprised me since overnight, we are the only hospital open for miles and miles.) and so I have a lot of time to think about the hospitalized cases, do research, and try to manage them as best as possible. By the end of the third night, I need the days off, but I like dozing through the morning and working while everyone's asleep, waking up lazy around one in the afternoon, walking the dog and feeling like it's early morning.

Who knew?

In other news, I'm about 4k words and many many more thought about into my Bourne Legacy/Avengers crossover in which Ken Kitsom and Clint Barton were totally twins growing up in the circus together until things went bad. As things do. And now they get to meet each other as super secret government agents. Yup yup!

(It seems a lot of people are writing Aaron Cross IS Clint, but I just love the idea of the world having to survive TWO of them :D Plus, that's double the shipping fun!
