A Little less A.D.D. than last week, but still so much going on and still so much love that I'm even enjoying all the exposition.
- Bobby is depressed. :( But somebody gave him his hat back. :)
- Um. Cas's angelic cell phone? HEE! Soon he's gonna be texting them pictures of his trenchcoat at various tourist attractions on the search for God. And the yelling? ROWR. I love that he can tell Dean what's what, in exactly that many words, without a hint of apathy, and with a monster helping of STFU. He might just be my new hero.
- HI ELLEN! My heart just grew three sizes. I don't think she knows who started the apocalypse yet.
- Ohhh, WAR. In a MUSTANG. KRIPKE WROTE US A GOOD OMENS CROSSOVER!! I LOVE IT. I kinda hope we get to see the other horsemen. I kinda hope one of them is War's vengeful girlfriend. Famine, maybe?
- HI JO! Was it me or did she do an excellent job here of being a little bit vulnerable and a little bit badass? Albeit, I would've liked a little *more* badass. She's so Sammy S1... (And Dean's smile when he saw her? THE CUTEST. I finally buy that he could enjoy her-- at least in a little sister capacity)
- THe BREAKUP. It was... really well done. I'm shockingly not devastated. Mostly, I think, because I still have unshakeable faith that this is going to make their eventual reunion THAT MUCH BETTER. They kinda do need some time to sort themselves out (and not just Sam. Dean, too) and their together will be that much stronger when it finally happens. In the middle of some crisis. Probably getting near sweeps time. *g*
Oh, boys.
PS. My current predictions? First, that losing Sam will propel Dean to make amends with Castiel. Second, that Ellen is gonna stay to help Bobby while Rufus takes Jo to show her the ropes. Something will get him, and we'll meet a sadder, stronger, tougher Jo at the end of the season (or at least we will in my imagination).
