(no subject)
So I'm sitting here writing an essay and eating dried mango and sesame rice snaps, and I feel like updating but don't have much to say.
The dance was pretty okay, actually! I had a lot more fun than expected. Danced with two grade 8s who were plastered against the wall for every slow dance, it was cute... especially the Shane kid because I was like a head and a half taller than him! Also danced with Peter twice, and did the Night at the Roxbury thing with Sam. A lot.
I got another email from said boy, saying that he'd been talking to a mutual chick friend of ours who pointed out that I could have taken it as being creepy and he feels REALLY bad. He sent another one saying that no, he's not obsessed or desperate or whatever, he doesn't expect me to do anything about it like dump Murray or say anything back, and yes, the 'in love' part was quite exaggerated. He was using that as a phrase, but he wanted me to know how he felt. He just said that he's always been straight-forward with everyone, and since this is kind of the first situation along these lines that has arose he didn't even realize it might not be proper to be straight-forward.
Personally, I appretiated it quite a bit. You know, cleared up some stuff, so now I still think of him as the same guy I did before and not as someone I might see peering into my window late at night.
Not so sure about Murray.
Have/had piles of homework to do this weekend, but I ended up doing all of my WWII questions at 2:00 AM Friday night because I was still too wound up to sleep. So now I just have a revision copy and 40 math questions to do.
Candace's birthday thing last night! Had told them I was only going to go to the supper and not the movie, and even though I hung with them a lot later than plannes (it was sooo much fun) they still harassed me when I left, haha. We terrorized BP's and made a new friend at Ruckers!
