I WANNA GO TO A BOWL!!!!
ok, so maybe if i whine about it, the football team will play better and beat penn state and hawaii. :) and then we'll go to a bowl. actually, they don't really need to play better, just keep the momentum going. :) they played absolutely awesome on sat against wisconsin. adam bone has this cool website, and if you missed the game, you really should watch it. http://www.egr.msu.edu/~huizing7/clips/2004_Wisconsin_LOQ.mpg
and it would be fun to go to tennessee for the music city bowl cause i haven't been to tennessee. There's only two that i dont' really want to go to. one, the alamo bowl, just because we went there last year. and i really really don't want to go to the motor city bowl. although, last time it was up in the air, madden said that we'd make a weekend out of it, so it felt like we went to a bowl. madden's cool like that. :) i love our football team. even if they don't win, they still played way better then anyone thought they would this year.
so this weekend was one of the longest weekends ever. but it was fun. so after the football game, adam and i drove to grand rapids to celebrate my b-day, kell's b-day and ryan's b-day. it was fun. we just chilled and drank. the boys played poker (p.s.- adam kicked ass!!!!) and the girls played euchre. it was so much fun. totally different from last year. wow, what a difference. lol. if you were there, you totally know what i'm talking about. lol. no running, no chasing, no breathing heavy, no ear sucking, no crying. lol. it was great! p.s.- i didn't cry!!! :) so then adam and i drove home sun morning to flushing to celebrate my b-day with my rents and fam and stuff. it was a good time, but we were both exhausted! lunch was really yummy! my mom always does such a good job. :) so then we had to drive jenna back to grand rapids so we left at 5 and ate in GR and then were home by 9ish. looooong weekend. we crashed to bed around 11. i never go to bed that early. so then, monday night, after the last day of band this year (unless we go to a bowl) i had to drive home cause i had two doctors appts on tuesday morning. it was fun to talk to my mom, just me and her. it's always nice. i love her so much! then i came back here yesterday late afternoon. talk about a lot of driving...like a few hundred miles or something like that. insane.
so last night i went over lauren's to watch elf. lol. we went to meijers and got stuff for grilled cheese cause i got a george foreman for my b-day!! i'll have to tell about my b-day also on this update. and then i was like, wanna have a few beers? so she's like, ok. whatever. so we make grilled cheese and tomato soup and then open the first beer. then we decide that elf would be a thousand times funnier if we have like 4 beers. well, 4 turns into 6. lol. then we start the movie and have 3 more. yikes! by this time, our attention span is so short that we really didn't watch the movie. so then we get mcdonalds!!! mmmmm. it was soo yummy. and lauren asks the guy for "a four piece fry" lol. she meant chicken nugget. lol. i was cracking up. so yeah, it was a fun night.
ok, so about my b-day, it was the best b-day ever. really. first, beck and katie come over and bring a cake and balloons. it was so good to see them!! and i finally got to give katie her b-day present. and then lauren came over and me her and beck all went to mongolian BBQ. which was amazing. i love love love MBBQ. then we had squad leader tryouts for band and adam brought me roses!!! :) it was so nice! and then after band i went over to adam's and he had a candlelight dinner set up for me!! he made tuna noodle cassrrole, with no mushrooms for me! and we had champagne and and he made me a cake!! it was perfect. He got me so much stuff. i couldnt' believe it! he framed my piano poster that i love. i've always wanted to get it framed, just putting it off, ya know? he finished our cups that we made over spring break, he stained and finished them. they look so good now! and he got me a Dean Koontz book, which is my favorite author. actually, it's really the only author i read. :) hr wrapped up all the stuff to make new rings out of a quarter and a half dollar! yay! so we are making each other rings. and the card was amazing. :) and then i can't believe he remembered that i wanted this, but he got my an old antique phone from 1938!!! i love it!!! and he's gonna polish it for me and everything. his parents even got me a present. it's a fountain and it has all these relaxing sounds to fall asleep to. it's awesome. it was such a good birthday!!
ok peeps, i gotta eat lunch and start on physics capa. eek, i have a test thursday. and the bar crawl is this thursday also!! :)
