So today is Tuesday and I have been back at Central for two and a half days already. I've gone to every class once and I think I am going to love them all. I have already reinstated the Cheap Movie Tradition when we went to go see Rumor Has It... on Sunday. I really liked it. And I have already broken one of my New Year's resolutions...sleeping in my own bed at night. Yup, last night we were watching Starsky & Hutch in the boy's room. Scott and Katie swear that they tried to wake me up and actually had a conversation with me. However, I don't remember any of it. I woke up on MY chair in their room when my mom called this morning at 7AM!! It was okay though because she was going to order me a shirt. I slept in there for another hour then got up and walked over to my room. This morning Katie, Scott, and I went to eat Breakfast at 9.30. It wasn't that good. Then we headed back to our rooms to get ready for class. The three of us are in classes together from 11-3.15 every Tuesday and Thursday. Brett and Phil are in our first class, ECO 203H, with ECON MAN!! Oh my goodness it is going to be boring. Phil and Mike are in our second class, BIS 101H, it seems like it is going to be a lot of fun and much needed information. We have a sweet teacher for our last class, BUS 100F, Dr. Monica Holmes. She is so funny, even if she doesn't mean to be. Scott says he just wants to take her and put her on a little shelf.
My Monday classes are okay. LIB 197, with Dykehouse. We got out after only 20 minutes yesterday. Then we had to do this scavenger hunt thing. Came back ate some lunch and a quick nap before heading off to STA 282. It is on the fourth floor of Pearce. Nice! Our teacher is pretty cool. He doesn't speak very good English but when he is trying to tell a joke or be funny it always seems as if you can understand exactly what he is saying. After Stats is TAI 170, in the smallest room in all of Moore. Seriously, we are crammed into a tiny rehearsal room with only chairs. I don't know how well I am going to like this class but we shall see.
Tonight Scott, Katie and I are going to see Hostel. We are telling a lot of people but we aren't sure yet who will be joining us. Hopefully I will be able to sit through it. I don't normally have a problem with too much blood but people have said it is really bad.
The drama that has started is only escalating in the few days we have been here. On one side they haven't said anything about what happened before we left. So, I guess I'm just going to give up on it and move on. It is the safest thing for me and screw everyone else. On the other side it is the smallest things that set us off. People are very surprised at the magnitude of our arguments. I'm not sure what is going to happen here but I'm just gonna let it brush past me as best as I can.
Hopefully this semester will go well. I am looking forward to moving forward with my business classes to see if this is really what I want to do.
