when real life and fic writing collide
So if you read the last chapter of Smart People, the next chapter is supposed to have a karaoke session. Never in a million years did I think that the French Open videos would be overrun with karaoke, between Novak playing Shakira to Troicki's Rafa, Robin screeching ABBA (of course), and MAndy finding a singing voice that isn't a monotone.
I had forgotten all about this element of the French Open, as last year they switched the feature to Taxicab Confessions. It's suddenly very weird writing this chapter, as I look for different songs to use. "Dancing Queen" just won't work any longer.
