Yeah, the hotness of Marat and Andy can get to anyone, especially when you're as blind as Roger.

Thank you for your support *hugs*. Let's just say that these next two chapters are the ones I've been dying to write since I originally got this idea. As a result, I'm actually getting stuff written - combined with an absolutely dead weekend at my job and it might not be as long a wait as I thought.

The amount of research you put into this fic amazes me Kris.(Man, that year was an evil draw, right there. I mean, Marat veating Naldbandian only to lose to Hasi? And Hasi to Kolya and then to Roger? Woah.) I hope real life gets better for you, but don't worry about the fic. It's your writing so whenever you have time.
Rofl, Roger is SO oblivious... both with Ginepri dorpping hints all over the place and Mirka pratically shoutiing it into Roger's face. Oh, Roger. *Pats him on the head* I sort of feel bad for Mirka too because that must be soo aggravating, having that happen right in front of you.
I loved all the Marat lines as well. :D When Marat's on, he's on, and "his power extended beyond gender lines"- BRILLIANTLY TRUE! And then the drinking bit and the part about wearing Andy out. YES KNOWING SMIRK! :D

I am not done with this US Open. Andy did make the final that year, after all. As a hint for the opponent, look at Roger's real draw that year: without rearranging, there's only two possibilities.

Roger is an idiot. Wouldn't you question some guy you don't know saying all that? It's gonna take a lot more to get Roger to break ;)

I was so happy I finally got to write Marat in this story. He's been an element for a few chapters but this is actually his first appearance.

You could understand Mirka acting like a bitch if you were putting up with someone in denial like Roger.

I would be very happy for that section to get someone inspired.
