It amazes me that the only times I ever feel like yacking on this thing are when I really don't have the time to (ie. five minutes before I need to leave for class). For instance, I'm sitting in my Computer IL class right now.

I don't know what I'm going to do for class today. We have all of today to finish our Illustrator portraits (due Monday), but I'm finished. The prof told me at the end of last class that I was done adding shapes to it and I was to the point of just trying different color schemes. Well I found a color scheme I liked before class ended, so now I'm hoping once he checks my work today he'll just let me go.

But even then I don't know what I'll do because I still need to stick around campus until 3:30 for my regular IL class. I guess I'll kick back in the library and get ahead on my reading for Origins & Ancestors, but *gag*.

I work too fast in this class. But still, I <3 Illustrator. Once I have a final color choice on his piece I'll post it here because I really like it and the effect the technique gives off (as well as the fact that it's really not that difficult to do). I'll have to experiment with it more over the summer or something. Although I am wondering if I could somehow turn this into some cool fan stuff for A-kon (notice my tendency to always jump back to that as of late).

Prof still isn't here yet. What else do I have to say. Um... Olympics tonight men's figure skating yey. Still on the fence about the new scoring system, but I'm not a big enough figure skating buff (hi, haro) to hold a fully informed opinion other than I think it's making the programs suffer by trying to cram in as many difficult jumps and tricks as possible in order to rack up points rather than making the program have as much asthetic appeal as it used to. There are times I feel that the music is only something playing in the background instead of actually being a part of the program itself. But oh well. We all know the Russian dude is going to get gold (I haven't checked the stats yet... I'm usually a cheater that way), and from the way he skated his short program, he deserves it.

Pleeeeeease Perez, come look at my stuff...
