ahh, monday afternoon on the last day of classes... feeling extremely lazy and apathetic. went 1-for-3 on attendance today and very much looking forward to these upcoming two days off.
this weekend was fun. friday after my organic test i followed krisha's lead and promptly got back in bed for a solid 3 1/2 hour nap. didn't actually leave the dorm until almost 9:00 and didn't wake up on saturday until at least 1:00. (so, yeah, that was about 15 hours sleep in one day). then ben had a surprise adventure planned for saturday which ended up being a trip to atlanta for the braves game... SO much fun. he is so good to me. all boys please take note that spontaneity is the key to a girl's heart. mine anyway. yesterday was basically non-productive except for our support of the AU singers and obtainment of a kroger plus card. is "obtainment" even a word? i dont know.
this semester’s finals are definitely going to be the easiest of my two years here. exempt from physics by the grace of God, art history is not cumulative and my teacher is real easy, statistics shouldn’t be too bad, and organic... i'll need a 90 to keep an A or a 65 for a B. i, in my apathy, have decided to aim high and shoot for the 65, and therefore will not be spending every waking second of these next few days studying chemistry. or much of anything, really. sounds like a plan to me.
emily and i laid out in the grass and absorbed afternoon sunshine for a splendid two hours today. good bonding time. it's humorous with the two of us... we had identical blankets and she was fully sprawled out on hers with plenty of room to spare while i had to squeeze in diagonally and even share some of her corner to keep my head and feet off the grass. hahaha, good times <3. we rather enjoyed being surrounded by "violent studiers" as we were just laying around talking about life and boys and summertime. i think it's ridiculous that they schedule finals during such pretty weather. maybe tomorrow we'll start studying. maaaaaybe.
after just attempting a two-mile run, i've come to the conclusion that moe's and two diet cokes for lunch just won't work out for me on a daily basis. blast. we decided today that we will force ourselves to run every day this summer in hopes of building up to something substantial by next fall. we'll see how that goes.
i love ya'll. if anyone is back in the LC and bored already... there is a GREAT apartment #105 in the varsity that will be occupied by elizabeth and i starting on may 25th. we plan on cooking lots of good meals and having a steady stream of visitors, so you should all come stay. i think that's all. xoxo.
