Kris went to see Paul McCartney in concert
About one hour into the show. Kris Allen appeared in the row behind mine. Yes, it was that Kris Allen, the “American Idol” winner, who earlier in the evening opened for Barenaked Ladies at Red Butte Garden. Apparently, rather than stick around and see Barenaked Ladies, Allen traveled across the valley to see McCartney. And he seemed transfixed throughout, singing along, clapping his bands, and it was in that moment that it was obvious this was no ordinary concert, and this was no ordinary man we were watching, And it was no ordinary boy we were watching either.
