NFAC/Nibblefest
This month's NFAC/Nibblefest theme is "Raining Cats & Dogs". Not exactly my area of expertise, but I participated anyway.
This is a heads up on an auction for the 20th of July. From 6-9 (I think) search NFAC on ebay for tons of great themed art starting at 99 cents.
The whole object of the NFAC Contest is to find a winner based on the number of unique bids, no matter the final auction price. I think my highest was 4 LMAO!!
My piece is a 9x12 acrylic on 140lb acid free water color paper. It was painted on a block to prevent massive warping. I'm almost done but don't want to let the cat outta the bag so to speak on my idea and title.
My first idea however was to paint a grey background sky, with a red ground with the occassional paw sticking up.........LMAO ok I am sick.........then I was gonna title it "Oh the humanity" I passed this idea along so maybe i will see one.
I will post an image and auction link when it is 100% done. So if you like the piece go take a nibble and give a small bid, cuz in turn that is actually a vote!
