school starts in 2 weeks. freak out.
i'm going to miss lifeguarding a lot. the other day my manager asked me, "kristen, have you broken anything this summer?" i said no. "have you ever called me before ten o clock in the morning?" no again. "you'are employee of the month". i am so honored. he wrote "employee of the month: kristen g" on the back of a guest slip and tacked it to a pole behind the sign in desk. it's so official. hahaha i love it. apparently some peopel at work called him at like 9 in the morning, pretending to be in a panic saying that the pump room was on fire and they were afraid the pool was going to explode or something and got him to speed out to spindletop. he was pretty pissed but i bet it was hilarious.
as long as i'm talking about work, i have two jobs lined up for fall. sundays i think i will work the desk at ltc and the rest of the week i will work at the peppermint palm, knock on wood. should be enjoyable. i like working, really i do. it's nice to have money and not bug my parents for it. plus i will like working at the tennis club because i have the biggest crushes on some of the tennis pros.
