fun memorial day weekend!
so i figured i had to have the same title as everyone else :P The rest of my memorial day weekend was fun. Roxanne and I went to my cousins house on Saturday, and hung out with them, played baseball with ben in the yard, hung out with jen, got a silly picture (on my new cameraphone!) of me pretending to be a chicken to entertain jen (the things you do for little kids!!) and one of jen being her adorable self. After dinner at my cousins, we left and went to see what my friends were up to. Brian and Steve came over and Steve brought Taboo...we played for like 4 hours! it was sooo much fun. at first we totally didn't get it, how to play, roxanne and i were a team first and totally lost...then we switched it up and i played with brian- my word was Frank Lloyd Wright, and i was like oak park, fallingwater, robie house...no response. afterwards i was like HOW do you not KNOW who FLW is!!! so i made him google and he was like wow, a lotta stuff comes up here. LOL. when we go to pittsburgh we're totally going there..... Then we switched up the teams again and it was me and steve vs rox and brian. Steve and I hang out a lot so we know all sorts of weird ways to get each other to say our words, so we won most of the games, but our goals of getting 5 per turn and 7 per turn were accomplished by Roxanne and Brian before us... so we were all winners,...and it was a great time. :) yay for fun hanging out being silly playing games for many hours with your friends nights! :)
Sunday morning Roxanne and I went to church because I had already committed to cooking brunch, and we cooked lots of lo mein and made brownies that everyone said they were sniffing throughout the service. yay. After that, we went home, went to the mall, took a walk to the lake, bribed her brother to come up for lunch, then went to the movies. We saw Raising Helen, which was pretty good, very cute. then we got back and hung out with brian and steve again, this time playing apples to apples and guillotene. fun times. :) She left monday morning. I went to lunch with my cousins at an Indian place, then hung out with them for a while. I wasn't feelign so great though- i guess not enough sleep plus indian food. blah. I had a headache so i was relaxing on their couch after playing a few board games with ben. Jen woke up from her nap and saw me "napping" so she brought over blankets and a stuffed animal for me. SO CUTE. 2 year olds are adorable.:) They drove me home and I watched Love Actually, whcih was alright- a little too many characters to keep track of, maybe if i didn't have a stomachache i would have been more excited about it haha. took a nap, made dinner, called home, hung out. blah. today was a blah day at schoool. but the quarter is almost over...and then i thought i was supposed to have a rehearsal for playing my violin at church but apparently not, so i had to walk home wiht my violin and my comptuer. ugh. went to jewel, watched summerland (which has like an identical plot to raising helen..strange that they're out at the same time!) and then called Jenelle who called me earlier today, and it was awesome to talk to her. now here i am wasting time, should be doing work, blah blah blah... :)
