saturdayyyyy
So this morning i woke up and finished up my taxes to send out. then i took a walk to the post office, walked to the jewel to do grocery shopping. I can't remember really the last time i went grocery shopping- some time in march i think, but between noah and gail's visits and the prospective weekend, i ate out more than i had planned, so i didn't need food. anyways, it was quite a grocery trip, and i spent more money than usual and had more to carry back than usual. Usually even if i have a LOT its dealable, but i had to stop like 3 times on my way back to my apartment to give my hands a rest/juggle stuff. i felt like a moron, and i must have looked pretty funny with this many grocery bags in each hand. when i got home, remembering that the elevator is broken, i buzzed matt and asked him to help me out and grab a few bags for me. luckily, he had no problem with that, and got everything upstairs. phew! (neeeed a car!!!)
I baked some cookies for Easter tomorrow- they are chocolate heath bar. mmmm. since I will be able to eat chocolate tomorrow. :) Also figured I should bring something to my cousin's inlaws place, where I am going. Then i practiced my violin, which felt really good- i went through all the orchestra pieces, worked on a bit, blah blah. it was cool. then i went over to my cousins for dinner. it was fun- i talked to my cous, then played monopoly junior with his almost 5 year old son. and he won. twice. but he also wasn't a very good loser and tried to cheat a few times. I was like, you know, you can't just roll the die again if you don't like what you got! i mean, i'm sure i did that when i was a kid too but i mean, i don't care, because it doesn't matter to me whether i win or lose a game. but for him playing with his peers...well he should just be careful. hehe. my cous made chili, which was really yummy. :) oh yeah, and when i was there i found out i have a new baby cousin, born today! riley joy! yay!!! :)
when i got home, it was time ot get ready for the 80s party... so now i'm sitting and finishing up getting ready, with a tank top, rolled up jeans, matt's lent me a xl flannel shirt, and my hair is in a side ponytail and poofed up in front with hairspray, and i tried to do some 80sy makeup but judging by my usual make up jobs, well, that wasn't helping me :P anyways, i'm so excited to go to this 80s party bc i've never been to one before nad always wanted to !! Yayyyyy 80s :) hahah.
