Joy, the social worker who has my case at Catholic Social Services in Montgomery has been trying to call my birth mother for about a month now and has not been able to reach her. So, a few days ago, she emails me and tells me she's having to send a letter (which is if you absolutely cannot reach the person). Few days ago.....so, I'm not expecting anything yet, right? Ok, so I work out this morning at 7 a.m. like I have been for the past two weeks...come back, trying to fall back asleep and a little before 10..my phone rings. It's Joy..............MY BIRTH MOM JUST CALLED HER AND IS THRILLED THAT I WANT TO MEET HER BECAUSE SHE'S BEEN WANTING TO MEET ME, TOO! She thinks about me every day:) She's been married for 15 years and her husband is very supportive of this. Her children don't know, but they're going to have a talk with them. I have a sister who is 12 and a brother who is 10!! I'm still not going to meet her right away. First, we'll exchange letters, then emails and pictures and stuff, and then we'll eventually meet at Catholic Social Services. (I will definitely wear water-proof mascara!!!) Dang, I can't stop crying!! It's days like today that you know God is up there watching over all of us and helping us out. Well, that's all for now!! I'll update again soon.
