(no subject)
well i have nine days before i head back to CNU for my SENIOR year! where the hell did the time go?? it feels like just yesterday that i was a loley freshman. sometimes i wish i could go back and do it all again...not to change it because even though there have been some rough times throughout my college career it has made me who i am today, but to re-live it. i never thought i would be THAT kid who wanted to stay in college forever, but i still do not feel ready to be a grown up. i love my summer breaks and even though it sounds EXTREMELY dorky i love learning new things that i would not learn elsewhere. which i think is why i am even more set on getting my masters with meg and becoming a professor. i think it is something i can be very good at.
on other news...i am ready to get my last year started. i know the whole year i am going to be counting down till graduation and at times it will probably be for the same reason i was counting down in high school (to get the year over with) but i hope mostly it will be because i do not want it to end yet. i am really looking forward to living at my new apartment..which was something i was upset about...but i like that it is actually MY apartment..well mine and jamies...but it is our stuff that makes it not CNU's furnature, and their rules, and a RA to check up on us if we ever do anything wrong. its also only 2 miles away and it will really show me who my true friends are by the ones who come and visit me and i them.
well i guess thats about all. 2 more days of work at the civic center after today...again wow when did that happen. i am usually counting down the days till i go back to school every summer, but this one just flew by me. over all it has been a good summer, i hung out with my parents alot, and talked to meg through the game. and saw my ladies not nearly enough, but what can you do when we all are work-a-holics. i cant complain though. it has been good to be home and rest before a stressful year ahead. in the year i have to take 2 more senior classes, have an internship with the campus newspaper, be an officer in 2 clubs, work part time and take the GRE's and apply to grad schools...whew im already tired lol! but i promise i am going to make the best of it!
well i guess i should get back to work. i probably wont post until i am back to school so everyone have a great rest of the summer and travel safely back to school.
