Well, he puts Sam in danger as bait and then saves him... but his track record for saving-Sammy is pretty good, so I'd trust him with Sam's life!

Dean's focused in this ep, he's not about to screw up. Well, except for accusing an innocent man... Sam pulls him out of that situation! So there's another saving-Dean-from-himself moment. Brownie point for Sam!

Normally the Bitchface makes a good showing when Dean is acting up like this. But it was overtaken by the 'concerned Sam' face in this case!

Still no replacement for the laptop, but at least we are back to the journal!!! The boys did research, did the legwork - nobody called the Roadhouse for a quick answer, in fact the Roadhouse was only mentioned in passing! With scorn!! Let's have a moment *happy dance* ok, back to business...

Well there's the obvious: "What's dead should stay dead," and Dean's ammendment of 'except Sammy' that is apparent now. But that's been done to death (haHA! A pun!)
So rather than focus on Dean's state of mind, let's have a look at Sammy's: "We've already lost Dad. We're lost Mom. I've lost Jessica. And now I'm gonna lose you too?" Seriously, this line would fit into almost any S3 ep. Foreshadowing? I suggest we kidnapp Kripke and make him tell us. I have a plan. It involves duct tape and tortured emo rock. Who's in?
