sooo me and my suitemates were trying to find a house to live in for next year...aaand we found 2...
House #1:
close to campus (aka across the street)
everyone gets their own room
2 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, basement
Rent- $600 (utilities included)
no washer and dryer
House #2:
far from campus (not that far, but my suitemates are lazy)
one less room so i volunteered to share so i would pay less (but the room is HUGE with a walk in closet...so i dont care)
3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, big backyard
Rent- $410 (utilities included)
washer and dryer
now house #2 was my first choice...except the guy refuses to call or email anyone back...so pretty much we're not getting that house it looks like....so house #1 is whats happening...
now the problem with this....this woman wants a $900 security deposit on this house when we sign the lease (which everyone wants to do that by friday/before spring break)...i mean $900????? you are renting a house to COLLEGE STUDENTS, where would you like me to get that much money from? my ass?....only me and one of my suitemates are actually paying for our own rent, everyone else is having mommy and daddy pay for them...so to them $900 is nothing cause they dont care, it's not their money...but i mean, i cannot pay that, and my parents dont have $900 to just hand me
