I need spring and warmth with every cell in my body. There's starting to be a bit of spring in the air, and it's getting me through this next week.
Midterms shouldn't be too bad. I'm not overly worried about the content, just about my ability to prep for classes that are so damn subjective.
I wasn't in the mood to go to the gym this morning so instead I took a walk to the Greenmarket. There aren't too many vendors yet, it's still too early in the year for produce. But it was nice to see people selling tulips and daffodils. And on the way home I stopped in the Strand to look for a specific book I wanted and like always I ended up staying for a few hours. I ended up buying some Conrad Aiken poems and some John Ashbery poems instead.
I'm in love with the new Cat Power cd. I feel like I like each new album she puts out better than the last. I think it's cause she's more bluesy and spirited as she gets older. I honestly find her old music really damn boring.
