james-nicoll is often fond of shooting down Lunar Helium-3 mining as a commercial operation since it wouldn't yield enough to pay for its own transportation energy debt (and other reasons, such as it not actually being shown to work in self sustaining fusion reactors, yet). But this article mentions that we just might go after ALL the Helium on the moon, not just the Helium-3 isotope.
