CATS!
yep... i got cats on saturday. Not the ones i was telling you about (their owners took em back)... but similar enough. i've got two black cats... and they're brothers. Ernie is the small, cheerful, silly one who follows you around and sleeps on you all the time. Bert is the guarded, shy one who takes ages to trust you.
one of em pooped on my carpet yesterday... that was a little bit annoying... actually... alot annoying because it seriously smells and my nose is sensitive. I reckon they both have health problems (Ernie sneezes and Bert has bits of blood in his poo). Geoff is bringing them to he vet tomorrow so they can get checked out.
Cats are weird... but also cute. I hope taking care of em will get easier with time (no more poo problems for example).
I find that Ernie is slightly stupid compared to bert... bert watches you - looks deep into your eyes when you're interacting with him and understands situations alot better (he knew the toy-dangling-from-string wasn't REALLY alive and watched my hand manipulating it instead). He doesn't like being picked up, but once he gets comfortable with you, he allows you to stroke him and comes when you call him. He's extremely clever and learns fast. Ernie is very forgiving, happy-go-lucky and warm. He loves being picked up and cuddled and goes INSANE with joy when you dangle cat toys in front of him. They're fond of each other i reckon. When Bert meows, Ernie abandons this current interest and goes to see what the problem is. Even though Ernie is smaller(freakishly small for his age), he's very protective of Bert and is more agressive. I'm beginning to seriously fall in love with both of them.
