Static Hearing and Silent Voice
Lol, long time no post, huh? XD
Sorry for not updating in like forever, been busy with school. This is the last semester before graduation so things have been picking up. I'm supposed to be working on a research paper right now and then after that I have to do a book report (on TF movie novel~! my teacher is awesome). Then my Graphic Arts teacher is having us participate in like all the art contests going on as well. And I'm also supposed to be working on a presentation on the History of France for my Ambassador's trip but I've yet to get with my partner for that. XP
Btw, on that note, our departure date will be on June 19 and will be returning on July 7. So no word from me at all for about 3 weeks. Summer is gonna super busy because once I return from Europe we're gonna be off and moving to Houston (by then, God willing, we'll have a house). So yea, busy busy.
On another school related note, I got accepted into Sam Houston State University and will be starting in Spring '09! Yay me. Still no car though so that sucks.
Heh, and that reminds me of the memory I will never forget, a couple weeks back my mom asked me to drive home after she picked me up and we grabbed some food. So I start driving and am taking the route home and guess who/what pulls up behind me and follows me a good 3/4ths the way home. A brand-new, beautiful white Pontiac Solstice! It was just wow, the very car that I'm getting in a few years and I'm being followed by it. My mom kept teasing me (cause she knows that's the car I want) and saying that he was testing me and my driving. Kept glancing through the mirrors to see if it was still following me (which it was) till about I was close to the turn into the subdivision where it jumped ahead and continued down the loop. I will never forget that! XD
Anyways, Art's been slow as well, I have like 300+ deviations on DA just waiting to be commented/faved on but I just haven't found time. I also have a half finished human PxJ pic that I have yet to finish and about half a dozen requests that need to be completed as well (Very very sorry to anyone that I have promised a pic and have yet to do!!!).

Yesterday I went to the best concert I have been to so far in my life. I went to Taste of Chaos 2008!!! OMG was it awesome. There were 3 Japanese bands {D'Espairs Ray, Mucc, and The Underneath}. They were pretty good ^_^
Here's the order:
First was playing a local band from Houston called 'The Fight Scene', then 'D'Espairs Ray' on main stage, after them was 'Idiot Pilot', which played while setting up for 'Mucc'. After 'Mucc' was the last Japanese band, 'The Underneath', but they played in the corner while main stage was being set up for 'Bullet for my Valentine'. Last intermediate band was 'Bless the Fall' while stage was prepped for 'Atreyu'. I love 'Atreyu' so much! It was awesome to see them live. I screaming and singing along with all the songs! They were the second main band because they did an awesome set up. Knew the name of all the songs they played. They even played my most favorite, 'The Crimson' (surprise surprise XD).
Main band was 'Avenged Sevenfold' and wow, they did an awesome show. I don't listen to them much though, have like 3 fave songs from them and that's it. But I'll admit that they presented well. From fire to fireworks, confetti and screen projections.
Bought a shirt of Atreyu and a poster of 'Dirge of Cerberus' (was with the Japanese bands). Unfortunately no sigs, and my friend Teph (went with her and Aeris) only took some video of the concert, I dont think she got any pics. At the end of the concert, my hearing felt clouded and Aeris described it as hearing static. My throat wasn't sore but my voice was rather low from all the screaming. XD
I absolutely loved 'Taste of Chaos' and I can't wait to go again. However, next concert I'm attending will be 'Projekt Revolution' led by Linkin Park. Will definitely be going to that one on the count that it'll be showing in the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion there in The Woodlands (the 'city' I'm moving to) and it'll be on August 24. Linkin Park will be there for sure on the main stage and then Atreyu will be performing on the revolution stage (I guess that means the intermediate), but omg, to see Atreyu again would be awesome! I'll be going with my brother and then Yari,
kuchiki_yahara , said she'd go too with her cousin, Justin, so that makes me that much more excited! I love music so much and concerts are just the best!
Last bit of news that I have to share is that I've been 'attempting' to write a ficcie (had the summary for one but just couldn't write it and i dont want to anymore) and now I've another that I have little bits written but no real plot or anything. I may share that with ya all later but I'm not sure.
