I'm so sorry this is happening to you. If it means anything, I never use an icon unless I give the user credit, no matter how cute it is. It is lame that people are just throwing them around the net and hotlinking, that's the worst :(

I see so many journals that have the "bandwidth exceeded" icons in every post they did and I feel so sorry for them and the hard work they put in those icons. My bandwidth was used up to 98% this time and I was afraid my icons would be gone...I hate that.

also I don't mind when people have icons up and don't know who to credit but actually say so. not leave empty but put something like "credit?" up there because then I know this person would credit if they knew whom...

ah well, this will always happen...I just won't ever understand how people can be so careless...

Btw you should check fanpop.com loads of uncredited icons go there.

Some people have enough decency to credit but some dont over t here.

yeah well, can't really do much about it. most people supposingly don't know how it works or forget or don't care or whatever. ah it's so frustrating and tiring and I guess I should just get over it and let it be.
