LPC-I Seeks Employment
So I quit my job on Friday. Yep, I quit. I went to Rosenberg to finish up any outstanding work, packed up my stuff, typed up my resignation letter, drove to the corporate office and turned in my resignation. I think that they were VERY shocked that I would quit just like that. I was quickly contacted by our CFO asking if was anything that could be done to get me back. Then the CEO called asking the same question pretty much. Unfortunately, I don't think anything can be done to fix the situation. I was very unhappy for a while and it just got worse and worse. I hate not having a job right now, but it's worth it to not be miserable. I've been looking for a new job for a while but haven't really found anything. All last week I applied to quite a few jobs and had one interview on Thursday. I'm not sure I like the position, but I'll take it if I have to. This week I'll be going all over the place and selling myself to companies. If anyone knows of any counseling jobs that are open, please let me know.
