So Matthew has a new foster-sibling. His foster mother has taken in another boy this time. A four year-old named Austin, who despite having a younger brother himself is obviously unused to having other children around. He was JUST assigned to the home, so has not yet come to grips with the rules of the house, either. The foster mother expects to have him adjusted soon. The good news for her is that his case worker is much more accomodating than the last she dealt with, and has arranged for him to have his trips into Lubbock on the same day as Matthew's. This cuts down seriously on the amount of time both children, as well as the foster mother, have to spend in a car going back and forth.
Of course, we worry about Matthew having a revolving door of siblings, as we want him to have as stable a home as possible. The ideal situation, of course, is for us to bring him home soon. All of our paperwork is now in place, theoretically, so we're hoping for a quick resolution. Keep fingers crossed for us!
