Not a heck of a lot going on
Ok. I'm at work again. Why is it that I write these things when I'm
supposed to be working? I think it's because I actually get to a point
where I don't have anything specific to do, and unlike being at home, I
can't readily distract myself in other ways. Sigh. I hate doing nothing
unless I've specifically chosen to do nothing.
The good news is that I'm back on the bike. Ok, not today, and not likely this weekend, but I've been getting in time on the bike and it feels good. There's a down side to it all, though. Actually spending time on the bike wears out parts. Like my saddle. The leather has worn thin on the side, and looks ready to let go any day now. I don't really want to spend the money on a new saddle...sigh.
Christi bought me a replacement copy of a book that disappeared a couple of years ago. I love her for it, but she's too giving.
Teacher certification is a continuing process of delays. Why is this? They keep complaining about having too few teachers, but make it difficult to get there. Hrmph.
Whee....
And I'll be in Houston this weekend. Cleaning out the old apartment for the last time. Sigh. What fun. Anyone want to go to NW Houston and spend a Sunday cleaning?
