sunday evening
it's still early really--8:52--but that's central time, too. i'm not used to central time and now that daylight savings time is over, it gets dark especially early--around 4:30pm. i'm having a difficult time adjusting to the time change. for one thing, i must have been a farmer in a past life because i'm up with the sun and down with the sun. not too good if you're partner is a night owl.
i sure do enjoy the weekends a lot more now that i'm in the office five days a week. the weekends go by too quickly. what did i do this weekend? what did i do...let's see, i piddled around the house on saturday--did my laundry, cleaned up a bit. there's more but none of its coming to me right now. today? well, this morning we watched a video about audre lorde and read the sunday paper, went to church, had lunch at the chinese buffet. i mowed the yard this afternoon. eh, i may have been using a lawn mower but what i really did was mulch down the dead leaves and cut back all the wild onion. i have no "lawn" just a scraggly yard.
that's about all i've got. it's very quiet here. i'm in diva miss baby's room. she's in bed reading a book. ginger rogers is beside her. i'm about to crawl in between them.
