(fun?) in New Orleans
So I realize that I haven't updated in a while. Bad Jon. Not really much to say, I guess. I went to Abbey's middle school choir concert Tuesday with Kat, Jay and Erich. That was fun :)
Also, I'm in New Orleans for until Sunday. Basically the stores are short-staffed and we came down to help for a bit.
Everything's been so fucked up. The plane was delayed yesterday because of snow. The car rental was a pain because I don't have a card and the guy who does (who the car should have been booked under anyway) has an expired driver's license. How does a 45 year old man forget to renew his license?!?!?
The hotel was a mess because I guess Best Buy has a bunch of rooms reserved and the hotel doesn't really keep good track of who's in what room. The store is in chaos. They've been shipped way to much product, are understaffed, and nobody in the store knows anything about proper merchandising. I could make the store look better if I just knocked all the product on to the floor!
Well, at least it's only for 2 more nights, and hopefully Saturday and/or Sunday I'll get to do some sight seeing.
I can't wait to get home already!
More info on the elusive January 2nd coming up, once Marc finishes what he's working on.....
