Update
I've realized that I have not been posting every week like I'm supposed to. That's not good. Oh well.
Vash's visit to MHC
· Vash has gone back home. He had a good week here. I know we tend to get under each other's skin but things didn't turn as ugly as I thought they might. People keep asking if I miss him now that he's gone back home. I tell them the truth: No. I'll see him in two months at the most. This is real life, people. As you get older and move on, some people are going to see you less and less.
· All in all, it was a good opportunity for him to get the feel of small college life and what some of the classes are like. He went to classes with me and a couple other people. And, strangely, even though he's only 16 and a junior in HS, people kept guessing that he was 18 or 19. Some people even asked me if he was my older or younger brother. How about that?
· And he beat me pretty badly at Brawl all week. I won some matches but not nearly enough. I got a lot better but the only real help was that I've been refired up about the game. Maybe, after I graduate, I'll end up living in or near Philly for awhile and (hopefully) I'll be near people that are a lot better than me. I need to learn a lot more.
Spring Break
· So I'm kinda disappointed that my spring break plans fell through so late into the game. Now I'm left with two options: go home to NJ or stay here in Mars Hill. There are no real other options to consider cause I'm sure as heck not going anywhere by myself. I think it's incredibly lame to stay here by myself for break but it would at least be comfortable. A lot of people (I count at least 6) would like me to go back home but I really, really don't want to drive home and back alone again if I don't need to. That trip is just too depressing these days. If I was riding with someone, that'd solve everything but everyone is doing their own thing. Oh well.
