Well..Im updating again since people do read my LJ...so this isnt an update its more of a story about how i kinda met one of the biggest influences in my life, not many of my friends know her, but they might know of her because I do tell some stories about..well...us lol...I bet you're wondering who this is...well its my friend for life Priscilla Modrov. Shes from Long Island and I met her when I was in 7th grade, or maybe even younger. She was on Team Suffolk and all I remember was at a newburgh meet I swam next to her and Jackie and I were terrified because she was on Team Suffolk and she was taller and faster than both of us. So we raced and as expected she killed me lol..so that was when I first knew 'of' her. Later in that season, Jackie and I made Zones for the first time. We were the new kids on the team so we were kinda nervous about staying and being on the same team as these kids we thought of as soo cool lol, so then Zones are over and we all go home. I never talked to Cilla, so I didnt think we would ever talk. The Next Zones for winter come around and I met Cilla and Jen I...we were talking about some stuff with Norman and Jackie, and then i started to talk to Jen and Cilla even tho they were 'bad influences' haha (def hope you remember) so after Zones I got to be friends with the boy who all women cannot resist, Norman Scott. He gave me Cillas sn and he told me to IM her..I didnt for about 3 months and finally when I did we realized we have so much in common and we had such a strong connection that only true friends could have with the distance between us. Well its been about 3 years and I must say Priscilla has made a diffrence in my life, shes always been there for me even when we live 2 1/2 hours apart and sometimes our talking isnt too often. I am so gratful to have her as a friend to trust, because it really does help when you're at a swim meet and you know people and one of them you know you can talk about anything. I'm never going to regret picking swimming as my sport because I've met the greatest people all around the world and i wouldnt trade them for anything, so thank you friends of long distances and thank you priscilla for helping me realize what life, love, hardships and friendships are all about.
