Grrr, argh
Is there any particular reason why Myths and Legends (the Doctor Who DVD set containing what are widely agreed to be three of the absolute worst DW stories ever) is still not coming down in price to any reasonable level? I'm not paying £40 for three horrid stories in a box released half a year ago if most single stories are down to at least £9 if not £6-7 several months after release. Grrrr.
Especially when The Time Monster is the only one of the three I actually want. Awful, awful, awful, but at least it was hugely entertaining. And Three was pretty in it. I suppose I might be tempted to give The Horns of Nimon another go some day, too, but the less said about Underworld, the better. The absolute bottom of Four as far as I'm concerned.
Also, damn Italy. We had this awesome chance to beat them last night (football European Cup qualifications, that is), what with leading 1:0 after the first half and then no, they just had to go and score twice in three minutes, both from corners. Gah. Damn. Still, it wasn't a bad game and it's heartening to see our players not feel fear when playing against the big teams.
