Gratitude!
Last Monday, Elsa had two teeth pulled. I had a lot of anxiety beforehand. She was sedated last year and it took her a week to recover.
But this time it went well! We went to a check-up yesterday, and the vet said she was healing well, and that she only needs softened food for one more week.
And then her regular vet called and said her diabetes is improving (!) and to lower Elsa's insulin dose.
I'm so relieved she's doing well, and that we got the surgery out of the way before the holidays.
This morning we cuddled in bed while I enjoyed my lazy morning off. I'm so happy for every day I get with Elsa!
