I actually started watching Lucifer and am enjoying it quite a lot. It's unpredictable most times, but still makes me laugh at some times and go 'wow' at others.

That's good to know. As I said above I've been burned in the past by shows when it came to backstories, so it's made me wary whenever a character's background seems to be put on hold season after season.

Yes I am loving the fact that the show cares about continually. The fact the are setting up rules and sticking with them. Also loving the Arthurian legend that they are weaving into the show.
Ezekiel is also my favorite I like his bravado but also that he has hidden depths which I believe he actively and consciously hides. It makes my very curious as to why he feels the need to do so and why he sees himself as the bad guy (although at the end of this last season I believe he was starting to see himself as a hero). I love the episode he got this season because it really stripped him of all his defenses and I think we got to see who he is underneath and all of his potential. I am hoping that with a third season we will finally learn more about his background where he came from and how he ended up working for the government.
I just wish they would get more the. 10 episodes each season! Can't wait till November!

Then again, one of the things I like about the show is that their adventures don't come about because someone did something stupid. I want the quest to be about stopping the bad guys, not fixing some team member's mistake, and the show has been really good about not going down that road.
