I don't know why (maybe it's because I could easily be defined as an "overly giddy geek" ;-) LOL) but this line made me laugh really hard.

The one thing that kept distracting me is that you keep writing "LSD" when I think you mean "LCD"? The display is an LCD, it stands for "liquid crystal display", and LSD is the drug lysergic acid diethylamide, which causes hallucinations.

Never mind.

I just read one of your other fics and realized that you're talking about the life signs detector. (I have seen authors use "LSD" to refer to stuff like watches or phones, though)
