I absolutely love it when John makes a fool of bad people by playing a fool. The transition from cowardly, harmless slave to hard soldier was great. And I love it that he took Glindof with him. Glindof's reaction was very real, considering what he'd been through. I love it that he was eventually okay with being rescued. Excellent story, as always!!!

Yay! You liked it :D I do want to write bounty hunter Sheppard - I love the idea so much - but something about the plot I was using just wasn't working out. I still hope to come up with something, though.

Actually the reason why bounty hunter caught my interest so much is I have
been daydreaming..........a series entitled "Bounty" with JF in lead.......
Finally, it would be a cable series where writing is much better.........
I know, just hopeless, but you can't blame me for daydreaming.

Simply wondeful! This was a great story with John starting as the slave, the story telling clumsy boy and then, in his usual quiet, understated and really intelligent way being the one that flies them to their rescue, the more than capable and far from clumsy man, the hero. I absolutely loved this story - thank you so much for writing it. Of course, I adored the whump but what's new there?

I only had the time to read it very quickly this morning as I get ready for work but I will take the time to savour it properly this evening. Thanks again.

Thank you so much :D I know it would have been awesome to see John's team rescue him for once on the show, but I've always loved how John used his smarts and skills to save himself.
