I love this. Dave's POV made so much sense. I love that John's trying to be a better brother (the handmade bowl was a great touch) and Dave's really conflicted, he wants to know about John but at the same time, once he knows he can't unknow (if that makes any sense at all).

Thanks for reading :D I've been wanting to do a Dave and John story for some time. Not so much a story in which they make up and all is well, but to show that they are on their way back to being brothers again.

Very nice. I like the John and Dave storyline. I like the universe in which they do repair their relationship and bond. Loved their history of having spent a year following their mother's death comforting each other by holding hands as they slept, and to see that repeated as Dave tried to soothe John's bad dreams. Very sweet. -Diane

Thank you :D I always felt that the end of Outcast, when Sheppard walks into Dave's hom, to be the beginning of setting things right between and and it's something I've been wanting to expand on for a while. That and explore more of John's background.

OMG! I love this!
Poor John, I would have freaked out if someone came into my room like that, I can only imagine how freaked out John must have been after what he'd been through.
And poor Dave, wanting to know, but not wanting to know. How do you not worry after seeing something like that.
