Title: Infection Tag: Rescue
Rating: PG for language, some blood, whumping for everyone!
Characters: Rodney, Todd, John, some Teyla, Ronon and Lorne
Summary: Rodney wakes up first, Todd wakes up second.

A/N: Written for lcshepp, who wanted a tag to Infection that dealt with the rescue, preferably Sheppard being rescued :D. Beta'd by the wonderful wildcat88.

I really enjoyed this. :) I've been rather surprised that no one has written any tags for Infection, since it was such a beautiful h/c setup at the end of the episode! Anyway, I particularly liked how you handled Todd in this, which is actually the main stumbling block I've had in writing a tag for the episode; I can do team-in-peril, but team-in-peril-plus-Todd is something I didn't even think I could begin to tackle. I liked how you kept his enigma intact -- helping them, yet with his own motives remaining opaque. And I liked hero!Rodney in this, too.

Thanks! I was surprised as well - I thought for sure there would be a lot of rescue/whumpy tags for this ep. But I suppose Todd is kind-of to blame. I didn't think I would write anything because I wasn't sure what to do with Todd, then realized that a Todd and Rodney interaction would be interesting, and doable by... er... ensuring the rest of the cast didn't get in the way of that interaction, I guess you could say. Todd turned out to be fun to write. Tricky, but fun.

How do you keep on writing amazing fan-fic. I don't think I will ever get bored of reading what you write, your just, well, brilliant. I love the humour you put in your fics its just like the show was, and boy am I missing that so its just great when you write STA, makes my day!

Sweet. Great team fic. Love the interaction between Todd and Rodney and especially the Rodney & John moment at the end. I always enjoy Todd and Sheppard interactions, even if Sheppard isn't conscious...saving each other's butts. Nice Whumpin, too! An all-around beautiful success of a tag. Thank you! -Diane

Thanks for reading. I find Todd extremely interesting but was unable to think up a story that included until now. He was fun to write :D
